Welcome to the December edition of our newsletter!

Our tech-savvy students, exposed early to computers and gaming consoles, demand a more dynamic educational approach than traditional classrooms to engage them. Such learners are more likely to enter a workforce that requires a resume and portfolio with a stronger focus on technology and deep tech.
When you see this edition of the newsletter it is not just a recap of the year that is ending. Instead focus on the images that highlight the glow that you see in the face of an engaged learner. More importantly, it also spotlights the possibilities that a maker centric education can achieve in terms of developing precisely the skills of creativity, ingenuity, real world problem solving and innovation mindset needed to prepare today’s students to face their future with confidence and become  change-makers for the nation.
2023 was also a year when the foundation’s work received wider recognition with features by Times of IndiaThe HinduCSR Universe and many more. As we enter 2024, we want to expand going beyond the isolated peaks of excellence in Tier 1 engineering institutes. And focus on raising the base by making experiential learning and innovation accessible to students in Tier 2 colleges and beyond.
I invite your active participation and engagement in this transformative journey and wish you
a very fruitful 2024.

Industry Academia Partnership

HPxMBF

This year we expanded beyond our programs to allow industry to challenge our students with their problems. HP’s challenge:

Achieve 1 million subscribers for PLC (Print Learn Center) and boost their print usage by X% in the next 12 months by enhancing the value proposition with new-age AI models. In collaboration with us, students from Tinkerers’ Labs took on the challenge.

Siddharth Anand, Hrushit Kakadia, and Abheet Chaudhary from Team ShaAI, IIT Bombay won $3600 USD and a Pre-Placement Interview. Ashank Deo, Atishay Singhai, Gedam Rohit Rajkumar, Irinjila Jathin Sreevas, Pranav Shirish Limaye from Team Lazy Panda, IIT Bombay, came in second and secured $600 USD. Arpit Upadhyay, Balbir Yadav, and P Balasubramaniam, from Team Neural Vanguards secured the third place and received $600 USD.

As we celebrate these achievements, consider the valuable opportunity for industry to tap into the brilliance of these young minds. By connecting with us, industries can inspire innovation, tackle challenges, and benefit from the transformative solutions that our students across 11 labs can create for you.
