Collaborative Classrooms & Project Based Courses
Disrupting traditional divisions between classrooms and lab spaces our collaborative classrooms promote Outcome Based Engineering Education (OBE) by creating active learning spaces that encourage students to test concepts, build prototypes and find solutions to real life problems.
Invention Factory
An intensive seven week summer workshop conducted in partnership with US Cooper Union Professors Alan Wolf and Eric Lima (Founders), to teach students how to invent, build prototypes and patent their inventions.
Center for Essential Skills
The Centre for Essential Skills ©Maker Bhavan Foundation has developed 10 courses on essential cognitive and soft skills to prepare students for a seamless transition from classrooms to careers. These courses help students in improving their communication skills and critical thinking skills.
Vishwakarma Awards
Vishwakarma Prize is an annual competition with a focus on different themes every year. The competition incentivizes students in Indian science and engineering colleges to form interdisciplinary teams collaborate over a 4-month period to develop a working physical prototype that offers a novel solution to the problem related to the theme. Vishwakarma Awards for Engineering Innovation is founded by the ©Maker Bhavan Foundation to encourage students to innovate for social change.
LEAP (Learn Engineering through Activity Program)
LEAP is based on a unique project-based learning curriculum in which eager young fresher are given real-world engineering design projects to solve real problems of society and deliver working prototypes with strict cost and time constraints.
