Head of Partnerships Ecosystem

Mumbai, Delhi Or Bengaluru

Maker Bhavan Foundation is seeking a strategic leader to transform India’s engineering education by shifting the focus from rote learning to a hands-on, problem-solving mindset. In this pivotal role, you will connect universities, industry leaders, government bodies, and nonprofits to build regional “Innovation Clusters.” Your primary goal will be to design semester-long, credit-bearing apprenticeships where students tackle real-world industry challenges, directly supporting the “Make in India” mission. Rather than traditional fundraising or short-term placements, you will build deep partnerships that align the unique goals of higher education, corporate innovation, and government skilling initiatives to create a unified system of practical learning.

We are looking for a collaborative visionary with over 10 years of leadership experience who excels at uniting diverse groups toward a shared national goal. You must have the professional credibility to engage seamlessly with senior corporate executives, university vice-chancellors, and government officials, translating complex needs into shared, impactful programs. If you have a proven track record of building large-scale partnerships and are passionate about shaping the next generation of Indian innovators, please fill out the application form or reach out to  [email protected].

Program Manager – Makerspaces (Assam)

Guwahati, Assam

STEM Shiksha Foundation is looking for a Regional Program Manager to lead its Tinkerers’ Labs initiative in Assam. The role focuses on building hands-on learning environments in engineering colleges and polytechnics where students can design, build, and prototype real-world solutions.

You will work closely with state government departments, college leadership, faculty, and students to set up and run these labs. Your responsibilities will include launching new labs, coordinating with institutions, training faculty and students in tools such as 3D printing, electronics, and prototyping, and ensuring the labs are actively used for projects and workshops.

This role combines program management and technical mentorship. The goal is to ensure that the labs become active spaces for experimentation and problem-solving rather than just equipment rooms.

We are looking for someone with 10–12 years of experience, including 4–5 years working in a makerspace, innovation lab, or similar environment. A technical degree (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma) is required, and experience working with academia, industry, or government partners will be valuable.

If you are passionate about hands-on engineering education and student innovation, we encourage you to apply.

Apply: Send your CV and a short Maker Portfolio (photos/videos of projects built or workshops led) to [email protected].
