Picture a world where the water flows cleaner, technology breathes greener, and mobility is smarter. Welcome to Vishwakarma Awards, a nation wide thematic challenge that dares student teams to build deployable prototypes.
The Rewards: More than Just Prizes
Of course, there are monetary prizes for the winners, only last year six teams won 1 lakh each, but Vishwakarma Awards go beyond that. Finalist teams recognized for “best product design” and “most innovative solution” receive additional support. They become eligible for MBF Fellowships, allowing them to further develop their prototypes into marketable products. Its not just about winning, its about launching a career in innovation and making a real impact.
Who is this program for?
Whether you are a budding engineer or a curious designer or come from the scientific fraternity you are welcome to participate. Students will receive financial support to build their prototypes, mentorship from domain experts, and guidance from seasoned professionals.
2023 Recap
In 2023, students from across India came together in IIT Delhi to push the boundaries of innovation and reimagine the future. What does a remote-operated underwater vehicle, a swarm of autonomous multi-robots, and 3D printer that uses failed prints have in common? They were made by students for Vishwakarma Awards 2023.
