Project PRACTICE is built on a robust framework of five key initiatives, designed to create a holistic and impactful learning ecosystem for students, faculty, and industry partners.

INNOVATION

Foster a culture of invention and entrepreneurship

PRACTICE will strengthen students’ problem-solving, invention, and prototyping skills through three pillars;-

IDEA Labs: Establishing dedicated innovation hubs to ignite creativity and collaboration.
InventX: A platform for students to develop and patent innovative products, with mentorship and support.
Innovation Lite Program: Advanced training and mentorship at top-tier institutions, including the IITs.

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING

Real world practical skills integrated into the curriculum

LEAP will build PBL capacity in engineering colleges through

Faculty Training: Equipping educators with the pedagogical tools to guide effective project-based learning.
Student Bootcamps: Intensive sessions to kickstart innovative, team-based product development.
Real-World Projects: Connecting students with tangible challenges that demand hands-on solutions.

EMPLOYABILITY

Equip students with essential 21st-century skillsets

MBF will offer 21st-century cognitive skills courses

Certified Online Courses: Offering skill-based training to students across all 1,000 colleges.
Core Skills: Courses will cover critical thinking, problem solving, data-driven decision-making, leadership and team work, effective communication, and advanced financial skills.

MENTORSHIP

A national network of expert mentors for guidance.

Structured Support: A network of seasoned experts will guide 20 colleges each, providing support on implementation, capacity building, and industry connections.
Phased Rollout: The network will scale in three phases to ensure all 1,000 institutions receive dedicated support and continuous refinement.

INDUSTRY CONNECT

Value driven partnership between Industry and Academia

Semester-long Internships: Offering students deep, practical exposure to industry environments.
Benefits for Companies: Enabling businesses to assess talent, reduce hiring risks, and improve employee retention through a direct pipeline of skilled graduates.
