Welcome to the December edition of our newsletter!

The perfect way to close the year was at the Vishwakarma Awards at IIT Hyderabad, where innovation truly took center stage. After interacting with the students, I realized they share an entrepreneurial drive, fueled by their passion for problem-solving and an innovative mindset. It was incredible to see students from diverse academic backgrounds—B.Tech, M.Tech, and even Ph.D. programs—coming together to tackle real-world challenges with such determination. Many of the projects were aimed at solving pressing issues brought in by industry leaders, showcasing a perfect blend of academic knowledge and practical application. Out of over 500 applications, 18 finalists emerged, each with an inspiring story and a solution designed to make an impact.

Some of these students carried the dream of building their own ventures, while others, to my surprise, had already taken steps to incubate their startups. Their stories revealed a relentless spirit and a commitment to innovation. These moments, filled with vision and potential, affirm Maker Bhavan Foundation in its mission to empower young changemakers. Hearing their journeys reminded me of the transformative power of giving students the tools and platform to tackle real-world challenges.

After jury deliberation, three standout projects in Smart Mobility, Green Technology, and Water & Sanitation were recognized for their creativity and impact. Let’s spotlight these groundbreaking solutions and the brilliant minds behind them. Visit our website to know more about the winners!
